Could anyone please help by letting me know which handheld GPS allows the user to enter the OSGB National Grid bigrams (2 letters) as letters rather than having to know the figures for the relevant area.

I currently have a MLR 24 and it is a pain having to enter to full coordinates (after looking them up) rather than being able to enter the Bigram and then the Grid Reference.

I will be getting rid of the MLR and I require a GPS that allows the entry of the Bigrams. I am not after anythhing fancy, just something for emergency checking of Grids. I have tried downloading the Garmin series manuals, but when it comes to the sections on entering waypoints it is always in Long/Lat. OSGB is mentioned of course, but non say whether the bigrams can be input.

Any help would be much appreciated.
