If I leave my P350 switched off and not connected to a power source, within 24 hours it will fail to switch on. The only way I can recover it is to connect it to a power supply and then I can switch in on OK.
I previously had a Mio 168 - I could leave this for a week without there being a problem.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems with the P350?

And I meant to add, Activesyc starts running in the background on it's own but you can resolve the problem as follows:-

Start your P350/P550.
Go to Start – Programs – Activesync.
Tap on Menu then Add Server Source’
Enter 1, 1, 1, 1 as the server.
User a
Password b
Domain c
Next uncheck the boxes
End.

Now go back to Menu – Schedule and use the two sliders to select each as Manual
OK

Now go to Activesync - Options, where you can delete the Server you’ve just added. It will now keep the Manual settings.

You will still be able to use Activesync in the normal way but you’ll find it no longer auto-starts when it’s left alone, thereby saving some battery power.

Mio recommend a ‘top-up’ at least once per week.

Many thanks for your quick response. Presumably I just unpack the executable from the zip file and run on my PC with the P350 connected via activesynch?

That's right.

When I downloaded I saved the file in case I do a re-install and then find the patch no longer available on the Mio site. Smile
