Hi, hope someone can help and that this is posted in the correct place.
I have a Mio 269+ and I found an update on the Mio website (Mio 269+ MioMapCE V2 Patch) which I downloaded and then ran, it copied files to Mio then deleted old files. I then proceeded to install POI Warner, all went well no error codes or problems.
The problem is that I can not access the Navigator - Sat Nav from the main screen, it just sits there with the car moving in the top right of the screen. I can still access Contacts, Media and tools, but not the Sat Nav side. I have tried pressing the reset button, switching off via the switch on the back. Running the install from the original CD but still it does not work. I even pressed the Sat Nav button on the screen and left it going for an hour, but still nothing, it just wont enter sat nav mode.
Any suggestions please, as we are going to Holland next Friday and I could really do with it working, thanks.
Looks like it was not as straight forward as that, I got confused with MY CD's last night. I had already reinstalled the Map program off the CD. The other CD I thought I had previously installed was only MIO Transfer.
After I got it working I decided to install the update again, because I thought I knew what I had done wrong, but guess what same problem. Installed the Map program, same problem. Anyway I kept installing the software and after the 5th install it started working, so now I'm going to leave it alone!
