it is clear from my limited experience with my new rider, that the battery charging time is a lot less than needed by the main rider unit. This is just as well, since it can't be charged and used simultaneously, like the Rider. So when I am riding in a foreign country what's the best way to charge the headset? The choices which spring immediately to mind are A: buy a mains charger to suit the foreign voltage and B: use the bike battery to charge overnight/when not riding. problem with A is I'll be camping most of the time. Solution B means messing with the wiring on somebody else's bike and risks flat battery problems, maybe?
Anybody got any alternative suggestions?

you can charge it with the mains charger that came with it, as it has universal adaptors for different countries. |

Would it be possible to buy a second headset unit? And charge that whilst you are riding - thus alternating on a daily basis/ |

Get a Starcom unit and bluetooth the Rider into it using the phone bluetooth adaptor - all runs of the bike system so never have to recharge it!
Or maybe you're bike already has a headset system in which case you'll probably get away with an interface |
