Tom Tom Navigator Map- Cyprus

Searched all over for Tom Tom Navigator map of Cyprus...
Can find loads for Western Europe and USA...
We are off to Cyprus Fly N Drive soon and was hoping to take Tom Tom with us however my thinking is the GPS satellites above us in the UK are in Geo stationary orbit over this side of the world. Would I be correct in thinking that for Cyprus we would have to use another set of satellites and possibly another type of GPS receiver apart fromTom Tom for the Middle east area?.....
If there is a Tom Tom map for Cyprus please let me know.
