Have any of those you reported made it into a database release? If they have, let me know the camera IDs and I'll reply with the history of the camera to show we're not trying to con you (unless of course we've coc*ed up somewhere, not impossible!) Smile

If the cams are 'pre reported', how can they be verified? this question is not directed to you Scoop (keep up the good work) just wondering if that is the reason you haven't been upgraded.

If you can either give me the camera ID or details of the data you submitted (e.g. a copy of the email?) I can investigate the reporting history of these cameras.

I suspect scoopjeff is talking about submitting info on cameras before they were physically installed gleaned from inside info, we get quite a number of these from GATSO install contractors Smile

I need to know the camera details to investigate why you did not get credited for the first report, i.e. were you beaten to it by someone else with inside knowledge or have we made a mistake!

8) Keep sharing it with us!

If you do report a camera which hasn't yet been put up, it probably pays to make a note in the comments saying when the camera will appear so the team don't try to verify the location and find there is no camera there (yet)!

hi scoop,

i can check from your username / email.

your two submissions are as follows:

mobile (may 2006): unused - (sincerely doubt the presence of a mobile unit in the north sea)

gatso (24 feb 07): unused - submissions started from 19 feb so yours was pretty late in comparison

And that would not count anyway as its a mobile not a fixed cam

No problem at all! We're just a little defensive as we regularly get accused of not awarding the promised lifetime subs. It almost always transpires that either the repopt in question wasn't the first or that it did not meet the qualifying criteria. However we do award lifetime subs at the rate of a half dozen or so every month Smile

Hi scoopjeff,

scoopjeff wrote:

Please keep submitting as it does help our database and the more cameras that you submit the more chance you have of being the first one to have submitted a fixed camera and thus get the lifetime subscription.

What part of the country are you in? If you could update your profile that would be useful.

If you submit a camera in Oxfordshire, let me know and I’ll try and verify it as soon as the next PGPSW camera database is released after you’ve submitted the camera.

Regards,
