Hi guys,
I'm trying to help my Uncle out with his Garmin 310 (I think!) and I'm trying to do it all via MSN Messenger. Thing is he has a computer but is not very clued up on how to use it.
So can you guys help me, I've downloaded some POIs for him and have sent them to him and I'm trying to let him know where to add them when looking in Windows Explorer. I own a TomTom One and all I do is add them to the GB Maps file, I've read on here about a Loader of some sort but i think that'll be too complicated for him and I don't know what he's looking at!!!
Where do these files go?! Please help me and my Uncle!!!!! :D
Cheers

Can't someone just tell me where to put these files without using the Loader thing?!!
My Uncle is not very clued up as I have said and I don't know anything about the Loader as I own a TomTom so using Windows Explorer speak will be much easier for the pair of us!

The POI loader is a doddle, just install it from the disc or here http://tinyurl.com/louu4.
Put all the POI into a folder (like one called Garmin on the desktop). Then plug the thing it, it will say do you wanna use POI Loader hit yes use express mode. It asks you wither MPH and Feet (or these odd metric thing) and then load them up, its dead simple. |
