MAPSOURCE - TRANSFERRING DATA

I am trying to transfer my saved waypoints to the mapsource on my laptop. But When I go to do it, it only lets me transfer the maps. The box you tick for waypoints etc is greyed over. Is there a setting I should change?

What exactly are you trying to do. If you are trying to move the waypoints from your PC to your laptop, then you should simply copy the file outside of MapSource. If you are trying something else, then please provide more details of what you are trying to achieve - the transfer option is to transfer data to and from your GPS.

I am trying to get the waypoints from my actual Nuvi onto my laptop.

Are the waypoints you are trying to transfer personal to you, i.e. you have installed them idividually in the unit, or are they POIs?

They are ones I have saved in my favourites.

I am a sals rep and these are all of the building site I call at.

I installed this all last night on my home laptop and it all copied over perfect. Now im just baffled. Confused

I updated the software for mapsource and now I can highlight all four options. Only thing is not it tells me it is havingle trouble communicating with it????

Are you selecting Transfer / Receive from Device...?

Which version of MapSource are you using?
