Hi I have the Tomtom 910 and a Nokia 9500 which is supposed to be compatable . I have no problem dialing through the 9500 but when I click "Get Numbers from the Phone" it tells me this feature is not supported . Any advice would be welcome

The 9500 is only compatible to make and receive calls, and for GPRS. The 910 can't use its contact list or its Text capabilities. See here. _________________ Tim |

Or an old one. When my semi-compatible N90 was stolen I bought a 2nd hand 6230i off eBay. It is fully compatible. _________________ Tim |

There is another slightly more long winded way of doing this, I posted some instuctions in This Thread last week, its a manual way of creating the data to go on the device, but it does put your phone numbers on the TomTom so you can use them as a phone book.
You might want to try a PM to site member RQ who created a spreadsheet for doing this very thing recently - not tried it - but if it simplifys entering data it might be worth trying - Mike |
