TomTom One Speaker Problems

Hi guys,

My dad's having problems with his TomTom One speaker, for some reason it's gone quite crackly; it's still perfectly possible to make out what it's saying, but it's no where near as clear as it once was, it sort of happened instantly and wasn't a gradual deterioration or anything.

It's quite new, and will definitely be under warranty (it's maybe three months old?) so I was just wondering if there's anything worth trying before sending it back?

had the same problem with mine. It's the speaker that fails, only option is to return it for replacement/repair. If anyones interested, the speakers used in older Dell laptops are ideal replacements!
