Can the 2720 load the full 11000 camera locactions or does it just use the 2000 Poi memory and ditch the rest of the database???

the 2720 uses the GPSR map overlay - it's a transparent 'map' that covers the main map so you can see the camera locations. it doesn't actually use the poi's.
there's more info on the download page in the compatibilty / installation table

8O No, the 27xx series can use the Garmin POI Loader system, so it doesn't need the overlay map. Its the 26xx series that requires the overlay.
