Yes, just paid to buy new maps and I can't download them. Had one problem after the next with TOMTOM. Have asked "customer support" for help several times and they just reply "thanks for your feedback" a few days later.
I did do the recent update. Have deleted HOME and reinstalled the original version but it still does not work. |

yep, i was told by tt home there was an update available, I downloaded it and after that it asked if i wanted to modify or repair files, i clicked modify then it said this bit is not going to work with ms outlook so i clicked finish. Then it said ther is an update available, so i went through same again and after that repeated same message. Now i get connection error. me thinks the rebranding has needed to be re-tweaked!! Hope its soon

Just had a reply from "customer support" with regards to the map I have purchased and cannot download. They advise me that they do not currently have a solution and to be patient !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

classy56 - I had to read that twice - it looking so genuine. Looks like we are now back to connection/network login errors with "Home".
They might as well have said "thanks for your money. Now go away."
I have been doing some research and it seems these errors go back a few months. |

My advice? Inform your CC company that you wish to place the payment concerned into dispute, as you have been defrauded by a provider who has not provided you with the goods you have paid for.
In my experience, the CC company should then refund the sum concerned onto your card, then the dispute is between them and TT.
If your CC company won't do this - then you're with the wrong bank.
If enough people did this - then providers would be forced to sharpen up their approach!
