TomTom Go 910

I am now the proud owner of a go 910 for approximately 24 hours. I have a couple of questions for you more experienced go users if I may (no doubt there will probably be more as time goes on - I have not even begun to installed speed cameras yet !)

1. Sometimes the unit does not power on no matter how many times i press the power but or for how long. I have noted that connecting the power supply resolves this.

2. When making a call using bluetooth, the internal mic is very crackly and is hard for the person on the other end of the line to understand me. Sound quality is much better with the external mic.

Are these minor problems normal or do I have a faulty device??? Thanks for your help!

The power poblem is not what I would consider normal, however is the device fully charged?

The inbuilt microphone is not very good, but connection of the external mic does improve quality be a considerable amount.

Firstly have you done a full back-up of the device? - this is vital.
