As I UK customer, when I select to buy the USA and Canada maps, it gives me the choise of download 99 Euro, DVD 120 Euro or SD 150 Euro. It states version 6.6. This is not to upgrade as I only have the UK maps currently.
Is 6.6 the latest? and will the download contain everything on the DVD?
P.S. My first post should have said POI's on POS's. Are there many of these included? Particularly in Florida. (Theme Parks as a example???) |

Hi ERROR
ive just spent the last 30 minutes checking the map on my 910 for florida and have found loads of amusement parks but have never heard of any of them.
from orlando international airport i searched over 100 miles in all directions.
im wondering if the magic kingdom, seaworld, universal, busch gardens are not actually classed as a amusement park on the GO and you will have to find a poi to download for this.
anyone else help out with this one please.

When I select amusement parks it brings up Disney etc as well as lots of others.
Also try the tourist attraction option. |

Just had another look and when I ask for points of interest near home which is set to the Comfort Inn in Lake Beauna Vista. I select amusement parks and tourist attractions and it brings up every theme park in the locality right out to Weeki Washi and Busch gardens.
Not sure what I am doing different to you and wish I could be more help. |

How good are the USA maps? I am travelling extesively in MO, CA, UT, CO, WY in May and wondering if the latest maps are worth the expense. As they are available in the US for $55 or in the UK for €109, it would make sense to purchase from the US of course. It they are identical then TomTom is ripping off us Europeans yet again _________________ TT for IOS

Would love to tell you how good they are, but despite the charge appearing on my last months credit card statement tomtom still won't let me download the maps and they seem unwilling or unable to help. Therefore in my opinion, they are more trouble than they are worth. |

I used the latest DVD on my visit to Orlando in Jan. Found the maps a tremendrous asset although I did no the area quite well. The only thing I found was that because of the huge amount of road widening schemes a few were not showing as dual carriageways. other than that well worth the 6 dollars P&P |

Utter rubbish. Last November, I put in the ID of my US bought Go, and it let me download the maps FOC. I Think the offer has now closed. |

Well he's talking about the ones available to purchase NOW in the UK, so what he's got already is pretty irrelevant, isn't it? |
