GPS with Maps for Europe and North America???

I am looking for a handheld GPS unit that I can have maps of both europe and North America?? I am a newbie so sorry if this is a dumb question....maybe all have that capability???? I have used a friends MIO digiwalker 510....is that capable of doing all those maps???? thanks.

definatley possible on tomtom6 and I'm sure possible on all the others. Just down to how big the memory is. I know the good map of western europe is nearly 1gig in size so I presume north america is even bigger so will definatley need upwards of 2gig+

If you want the maps built in to the device at purchase consider the TomTom Go-910 it contains what you want and is probably a more cost effective purchase than device + maps (the maps tend to be expensive when purchased on there own) - Mike
