Having installed a genuine pre-loaded card (TomTom Navigator 6) onto my Medion MD95025 (MDPNA100) everything works OK, setting up the Poi's speed camera sound, distance warnings and adding other Poi's like supermarkets and petrol stations.
The problem is each time I come out of TomTom and restart it, the Speed Camera Poi's revert back to the default settings on the sounds and distance, the supermarkets and petrol stations have to be set up again with the sounds and distance warnings.
I seem to recall I had a similar problem with Navigator 5 but can't remember how to rectify the problem.

Is the card write-protected?
Also, if you're resetting the PDA rather than orderly shutting down TT, it will forget. |

Chris, check the properties of the .cfg file in your map folder, it is possibly set to read only, please have a read through This Thead for some additional information, note in version 6 the exact file name might be different to what is listed in the link - Mike |
