is it just a case of adding the europe map folder and deleting the uk one?
are the units the same?

I think the units are the same, but if you download a Europe map, you will need a bigger SD card - at least 1GB.
So keep the original UK map and card in a safe place after you have copied it to your PC as a backup. You can copy the PC backup to the new card to get all the system software installed and then delete the UK map from the new SD card before loading on the downloaded Europe map. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

cheers, i have a 1gb card in there now.
is that all i need (replace map folder), postcodes will still work and all the camera poi's?

I have a Sandisk Ultra 2 with my USA maps on it, works a treat.
Are you sure that your Sandisk card is a genuine one? unfortunately there are a lot of wannabee cards on auction sites.

going to try out the europe map folder tomorrow.
is there any other folder that needs removing apart from the uk map when i put the europe map folder on? |

Funny... usually when you buy the European map the installer sorts all this out for you. |

Just the map folder (remember to copy your favourites across to your new map). |
