garmin i3 database download

i am a newbie to this, i currently have a out of date garmin i3, had it aprox 1 year, if i download a new updated camera database, how will i know if it will take it in memory, what happens if not enough memory, finally, can you give me link, assuming you tell me its ok to download, to a full database for the garmin i3
