Database query regarding use with Checkpoint

I use TT5 - is it possible to use Checkpoint with the paid for database ?

Its just it seems the only way to use the database info with Checkpoint is to Sync - doesn't that then upload the database info, and share with others ? Which of course would break IPR etc - am I missing something. I don't want to upload paid for information to an external server - so how do I use it please ?

The sync facility is only for the built in CheckPOInt database - if you load the PGPSW database, it will appear as other POIs you can alert on (in the same way though as their main speed database). Any submissions you make via the CheckPOInt interface will modify the CheckPOInt database, not PGPSW though.

Basically, you can use it though - set it up to alert as you want, and then leave it alone, and treat it as an alerting only tool.

If you want to be able to submit changes to the PGPSW, consider using POI Capture, which will create files which you can upload here via the Camera Submission page.
