Yes i've just purchased one of these units for use in a car, im not fully conversant with it just yet, but have had GPS units for about 12 yrs. The screen is good and bright with graduated auto dimming, only 1 built in speaker on the rear so no Stereo for those MP3's and the power plug is of poor quality, tightening the allan bolt at the knuckle joint a little caused the thin plastic to distort, wont be too long before that needs replacing. Do note that on the U.K. model the MP3 transmitter is disabled, Speed cameras appear on the map as a dot and not as a camera avatar and no traffic receiver is included although Garmin have offered to send one. My unit was supplied with Mapsource V8, V9 free upgrade on order, the Nuvi 660 came with V9.
Previous Gps units include Streetpilot, Streetpilot3 and Nav-talk gsm.
Future interests.......Garmin 2820.
Cheapest place i found for the 7200 was www.blokesstuff.com @ £912.
Rating........6/10 not bad, could and should be cheaper. _________________ Intrakota.

The other irritation is that when monitoring satellite information and signal strength the view of the satellite positions is fixed unlike the old Streetpilot 3 which rotated thus showing satellites in there true position relative to your position and heading, much more convenient. _________________ Intrakota.
