|
|
Hi,
I already have a Tomtom one version 1 which i've had since January.
I notice that new maps are available for £50 but rather than download them i was thinking of flogging my Tomtom one since it's coming up for a year old and buying a Tomtom one GO v2 which will(i'm assuming) have the new maps already when i buy it?
So does anyone know or can confirm that if i do buy a Tomtom one now will it come with the very latest maps which Tomtom are offering for £50?
Cheers, Jason |

This may sound ridiculous, but there have been reports on these forums by people who've bought the new maps which seem to imply that the ones already installed on their machines may actually be NEWER than the ones they have downloaded since.
Roads that were missing on original v5 maps but were present on the v6 versions pre-installed in the x10 series and One, have disappeared again on the downloadable maps!
It's all part of that weird and wacky world that TomTom inhabits! |

The V2 GB map is v660 & includes RoI. The V1 shipped with GB v606 |

The downloadable version is also a flavour of v660, but seems to have features missing that were OK on the pre-installed map. |
