Lost sounds when using handfree mobile

This ones been bugging me for a while now, when i make or receive a call via the tomtom 910 it loses the sounds for speed cameras as in when i finish the call and come to a camera it doesnt warn me with a sound just a flash on the screen. I have to reset the tomtom using a paper clip.
Anyone else had this problem??

I lose sounds DURING the call, but do get a small squeek in place of navigation (and presumably cameras) as if Jane is trying her best to get out and can't!!.

BUT I get all sounds (inc cameras) back again as soon as the call is ended.
