|

Argos have now reduced the above to £99 and £89 respectively. Am aware that they are very basic e.g. no POIs etc but want one as gift. Have searched web for difference in specs but cannot find anything. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I think its virtually impossible to find the 330 at Argos but there are still some 310s around.
thanks, :D |

To be brutally honest they're both very poor and I honestly couldn't recommended either even at those prices.
Not only do they lack custom POIs, they alos have no moving map, instead all they show is a static image of the next turn or junction.
Even as a gift you really would be better not bothering!
Asda have the Evesham Navcam at £99 which is a much better proposition. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Err, the 330 does have 3D moving maps, Darren. Having said that, I wouldn't recommend either of these models, either. _________________ Tim |

320 - 300MHz processor, SiRFStar 2, Turn by turn maps.
330 - 200MHz processor, SiRFStar Xtrac, 3d moving maps with progress bar (ooooh), more routing options. _________________ Tim |

Thanks for the info folks. Managed to get one of the 6200's from Asda. Looks like good value for money. Picked up a sat outside within a few secs. It even works in the living room holding on to 3 or 4 sats something that my medion won't do. |
