I'm using: iPAQ HX4700 - ROM 2.01.05, WM2005 (5.1.70), TTNAV 6 MWE, Holux GPSlim 236. (Not sure how to check the TTNAV version, it's version 6 with the Western European Maps as shipped from TomTom).
The same build was running Navigator 5 for a considerable time without any problems. Recently I've had a couple of lock ups generally near the end of a long journey (2 hrs+), TomTom/the PDA will completely freeze and resetting the PDA is the only option available. On a recent trip it froze 3 teams, the first less than an hour in.
Anyone else had any problems, does anyone have any suggestions (preferably not reverting to v5). |

Hi
Have you used the samre memory card. I had a similar problem with TomTom 5 on an XDAII. The cause of this seemed to be a slow SD card. I changed to a 133x one and never had any more problems. I have upgraded to Tom Tom 6 with no problems - my longest journey so far has been about 1 1/2 hours.

It's the same memory card, a 150x card, fine on Navigator 5. A bit of an intermittent problem, 2.5 hour trip home yesterday and it didn't skip a beat. |

I found with my HX4700 set up I got lock ups if the 1Gb SD card I use was formatted as FAT32 - I reformatted it as FAT and it hasn't locked up since.
Worth a try.
