Hey ho all,
Little bit of a question here I wouldn't mind some help with....
I bought a Mio A201 with built-in GPS and TomTom5 back in Feb this year (06) all was great for a while, then it just died on me. I got in touch with Mio-Tech, and sent it back for repair. The repair consisted on a new motherboard for the device, and took approx 1 month to complete, which I thought was a little much but hey, it got done.
I got the device back, though what with me being typically English and having never spent any time concentrating in language classes at school I do not know one sentence of French. Undeterred however, Mio decided to sod that and send my A201 back with a French OS installed!! Me slightly irritated, I phone them back, and the only course for action is the send it back again!
2 Weeks later I get it back, fully reinstalled and working apart from one '*minor' issue. The GPS aerial on the back when you pull it out and pivot with your fingers the screen automatically changed from portrait to landscape. It no longer does this, so I have to manually jump around into settings and do this myself. I quite liked it doing this automatically before, but having phoned up Mio again, they want me to send it back AGAIN! And I'm reluctant as I don't want to be without it for up to a month again!
Any help sorting this would be appreciated a lot.
