I have download the tomtom home & found I don't have the new version (ie: I have 5.420 & new version is 6.520) I take it that I have to delete the 5.420 & the load the 6.520 on ? .
I have backed up my tom tom but I was a little worried about deleteing the tomtom application & loading on the new one because I thought it would do it automaticly ?
I have already got the speed zoned files & spoken pois loaded on, so I don't what to loss these ! |

6.520 might not be compatible with your old maps. I'm pretty sure that is the case if you have 5xx maps. You could be OK if your maps are 6xx. _________________ Tim |

I took a chance & backed up & the deleted the version 5.420 & loaded on the 6.520 , At first it told me I didn't have enough file space, So I then restored * deleted again to leave 8.5mb free & loaded on the 6.520 & it went on :D .
After seeing your post I look on the great britain maps & I have version 605, so hopefully It will all work great.
Many thanks for the super quick responce |

When you update the firmware application you don't need to delete the old version as the new one automatically replaces the old version.
I'm guessing you have a One V1 or 300 with the v605 GB map
If so you will need to delete all the foreign voices to make room for this as you've probably still got the original 128Mb SD card.
Treat yourself to a 512Mb card so you have room for all the silly voices, colour schemes etc. |
