Is it me, or is the SPECS_TBA OV2 file missing from the Complete 24 Zoned Cameras when you unzip?
Anyone else noticed this or I have done something stupid??

There are no SPECS with an unknown speed this month, so the file is empty. Early downloads of the ZIP file had the file missing, but I believe PGPSW have created a dummy file to ensure any previous file is overwritten. |

That would explain it... Tx swing!
Although there is no OV2, there is a BMP. file as you say, do I guess when one comes along, they'll add the OV2.

Or just create an empty .OV2 file and rename it to the same as the .BMP file. _________________ Graham.

To clarify....
Only the last couple of versions haven't got any unknown speed SPECs (October's versions had one entry in the file).
The software that compliles the lists from the master database was set up to NOT produce a particular file if there were no entries that month, but it was pointed out that if there wasn't one in every download package, then the out-of-date file would not get overwritten on a lot of machines. (and a lot of people would worry or complain too! )
From now on, the whole set of files will get generated, even if they are "empty", so you should keep the .bmp and there will be no need to make an .ov2 yourself. |

Just to re clarify.....
The unknown specs file I downloaded as part of the 24 file OV2 on the 30th December contained 3 POI entries when it should have been empty. So I deleted them thus creating an empty OV2 which went across to the SD card with the other 23. If thenext release contains any POI's then it will just overwrite the ) byte file. _________________ Graham.

Just to re-re-clarify, we haven't had the 30th December version yet!
But you're probably right, I only looked at the 3rd and 10th October versions as they were the only ones I had on my PC at work.
But why do you say that it should have been empty though? If it had three entries, were they duplicates of entries in the known-speed files? |

Because MaFt posted a message last friday to say that the Temp_spec file should not have been in the original 30th November release. _________________ Graham.
