The house numbers are embedded into the TeleAtlas Map Data.
They do go a lot higher, but all that are available on a given road depends on TeleAtlas knowing the numbers. This depends on their sources of information having given them the numbers in the first place.
So with your 500 you can only select the numbers that are known about. If there isn't one that you want, just use the Postcode. It will get you close in most situations. _________________ Richard

Hi thanks for the reply but I have spoken to another GO 500 user & their numbers goes up to 999 but for some reason mine only goes to 223. I thought it might be something that I can change on the sd card in the programe? but I don't know where to start looking. |

Browse the map to the road concerned and tap along it, house numbers will appear. If you do get numbers higher than 223, do as Oldboy says and use the postcode search then select road and see if you can enter a higher house number that way. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Check you have the right postcode at http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm
If you have the wrong postcode it might not cover the house number you need.
Also on my Garmin i3 i have found one postcode that the Rpyal Mail says is Street A and Garmin i3 takes you to Street B. |

I get this sort of thing surprisingly frequently, working as a whitevanman. It usually turns out to be geographically nearest to the delivery door or the back door, back garden. A right pain when the back entrance to the golf club is 18 greens away and they really want the delivery to the front!!.
I have long accepted the house numbers problem and, as advised by others here, simply click on Done and you'll get into the right street unless the postcodes are split (on my street, numbers go up to about 75, but there are two postcodes for it).
That Royal Mail website PaulB2005 has given you is a real godsend for checking. I only wish I were newtech enough to be able to get it on my phone as opposed to at home computer (which doesn't travel well or work in the van). _________________ Dennis
