TomTom One troubleshooting help

i just got my new tomtom one yesterday. it worked fine out of the box during my first trip. when i got home i installed the software that came with it. it suggested i do a back up. during the back up i got an error message that read "an error occured while reading this file: E:\licenses/eula-danish-no_uscan.txt" now all i get on my device is a picture of the tomtom plugged in and the memory card coming out with a big 'X' on it. when i plug it back into the computer that stops and it's just the plugged in device icon again. i've tried resetting it. help. please!

Sounds like you may have inadvertantly corrupted the SD card.

If it's new, take it back to the shop for an exchange.

as above but dont use tt home to back up the sd card just make sure (show all hidden files ) is selected in windows explorer and then copy and paste if you un sure on how to do any of it, this has been covered many times in the go forum
