Nuvi 660 Advice/help Wanted

Hi All,

New here so be kind

Had a 660 for a couple of weeks, not had a satnav before but really chuffed with it but have a few questions

When I'm on the phone via btooth I get no alerts for cameras or the route not even a bleep it's on the screen but no audio to grab ya attention .. is this normal ?

If I'm in 'City A' .... can I enter 'City B' and plan a route to 'City C' and see the route. I guess what I'm trying to say is can you plan a route to see how long it will take between two points when your not at one of them ?

Yes, it's normal not to get any alerts whilst on the phone. Early firmwares for the Nuvi 3x0 series did offer the speed alert beeps (although no navigation), but these were removed.

You can certainly plan such a route - a quick search around these forums should provide the detail of how to do it.
