Hi all,
I Have a Garmin i3 and when I download the camera positions from this site it does not come as a .zip file or .cvs, but as a file that no application on my PC inc' POILoader recognises!
Any Ideas?
thanks

Hi,
There is no extention, it's just a 'file' of 125KB that nothing recognises
Any further help much appreciated!!

if you are running windows 98 ,you might not have any un-zipping programs so the file looks unusual...try loading win zip and you will find the file changes appearance and you should be able to unzip it ,then it will have the correct extension... _________________ *************************** |

Just tried Winzip, but the result is the same as the file (whatever it is) is not a zip file.
I have tried on another PC too (running Win XP home) and the result is the same
Any ideas?
thanks

Download it again. When prompted where to save it type
cameras.zip
into the filemane box, then hit save. |

Meh!
zogman - you've upgraded to a 310D. Is that with the Traffic Master re-routing thing? Any good? Is it just major roads like A-roads or does it also cover minor roads? |

it got full uk street level mapping , a dvd with all of street level europe , a tmc module which works great and a 256 mb sd card for mp3's etc..
when i first got it i set up the tmc by my pc and really enjoyed finding out where the traffic jams were. i think it only covers motorways, a roads and major b roads... _________________ *************************** |

Cheers. Don't think i need to upgrade yet but the TMC would be useful on those occasional long distance runs... |
