This is me off. This is my 2nd GPS unit now (now have the C330) and alot of small towns dont have streets or avenues listed, it just says "road" All the roads are there but quite a few are not labeled. Is there anyway of labeling these roads myself?

no mate..it all depends on what mapping software you got whether you get certain street names or not... _________________ *************************** |

do you mean you can't search for the streets or that the street names don't show up when you're viewing the map? |

neithor. i can zoom right into the street/avenue and nothing. no names. All the roads are there but no names for them thus not allowing me to search for an address there.
This is only in certain small towns (you gotta be really dumb not to figure them out) but is beside the point.
I have even looked at online maps and they all show the same thing. All the roads but no names (well main roads and such are there)
Destinator software does the same thing and so does co-pilot |

Guess it boils down to whether NavTeq have this data to pass on to Garmin. In the UK we don't seem to have the same issues (not that I've noticed anyhow). _________________ Garmin i3 gone (sold on eBay)

strange... i guess it's just down to how they mapped the data.
are you able to use postcode/zipcode searched to pull them up?
