Hi Guys
As title really, was thinking of upgrading my Go300 to the updated Western Europe map, and was just wondering what is the largest SD card that the 300 will accept?

Cheers

Paul

1Gb is all you'll need for Europe but a 2Gb or 4Gb will fire up in a 300 with no problems.

Is 1Gb maybe not a bit tight? The new MOWE is 956Mb according to TT, and there must be say 10Mb of system files etc. Don't know for sure how much working space it needs.

Thanks for the replies. Yep I thought that 1gb would be quite tight too for a file of that size, but don't often see many people say that they have a card larger than that in their systems.

TT reckon 25 MB for system, but then you can have lots of PoIs, Itineraries etc. And you need space for the temp files. Screen dumps?

The 710 runs this map from a 1GB card, but I don't know if it's restricting anyone's expansion hopes. There are more utilities being developed - eg Tripmaster.

Up to you. I think I would try a 2GB though.
