TMC for Nuvi

Hi guys, i have just bought Nuvi 350. its a good unit but i also wanted TMC function. Its optional for 350 and the TMC kit costs 120 euros plus. Is TMC antenna included in Nuvi 360? from where can i buy secind hand TMC kit ? if the price difference for nuvi 350 and 360 is not too much i may go for 360 (provided its with TMC).

you can get a nuvi 310 with tmc and a dvd full european mapping for £299 from halfords..(£285 if you ask for a discount) ..the tmc alone can be brought on ebay for about £60/70...

Thanks , i stay In belgium so i will have to check the product price at Media mart. Are you sure you get DVD of upto street level. i was told by one of the dealers that only major roads of europe are included. I bought Nuvi 350 for 398 euros here.

The Nuvi 310D - note the D - includes the same level of detail as the 350, except it's on a DVD, and hence needs to be loaded onto an SD card.

The Nuvi 310/360 only add Bluetooth over and above the 300/350 - for built in Traffic you need to move to the 660.

so 310 D comes with europe full map on CD but not TMC. TMC we have to buy anyway except for 660. Is that right?

As zogman says, the 310D comes with traffic (GTM12) as well - the 660 comes with the GTM21.

i checked the price at media mart. 310D is 520 euros. Nuvi 350 costed me 398 euros.

The 310D is more like 420 Euros in the UK.

may be i should wait for the prices to come down a bit further then. by that time even sony new unit will be out in the market.

Hi dippy, I didnt know that do that. Will they ship to belgium? I will check with them. can you be kind enough to send me their weblink? i see couple of nuvis available at reasonable price at ebay, but i am not sure whether to rely on ebay.
