I think you'll find you have your device set to kph or you downloaded the kph file instead of mph.
30 mph = 19kph - 40mph = 25kph - 70mph = 43kph.

In POILoader, on the screen where you select the directory where the data files can be found, it also asks 'What units should be used for distance and speed?' Make sure you set this to Feet and MPH.
