Hi
I've just got the new Compact III pda/phone, which has GPS (SirfIII) built in, Windows Mobile 5.0 and also uses micro SD format cards.
I didn't get it bundled with Co Pilot, so I was wondering if anyone has got this going with Navigator and what the issues are. In theory all you need is the software -has anyone tried it? It's not on Tom Tom's approved list yet - I asked them but I just got a standard reply saying they always look at new hardware and it takes time to test.
Any advice on this welcome!

As this is a variant of the HTC P3300 Artemis it should work, select Com 4 at 9600 Baud speed. The Artemis comes pre loaded with TTN 6 but it has a specific setting for inbuilt GPS, I doubt you would get this option so manual set-up as I detailed above will find the inbuilt GPS - Mike |

Thanks Mike. I forgot that the Artemis came with Navigator - strange that Tom Tom didn't see fit to add it to their compatibility list.
Do you think 5.21 would work? |

I see no reason why it wouldn't work with TTN5,21 just use the same GPS settings I mentioned earlier in this thread - Mike |
