tomtom 510 blank screen crashed

just bought a tomtom 510 had it 7 hours its just crashed the screen is lit up but blank wont turn off or on any ideas and is there a reset button

You need a very thin pin, hold it down for about ten seconds then try switching on again.
If that doesn't work, some people suggest that you should try it for upto 30 seconds!
