Had a search but couldn't fine what I was loking for...

I've created some nice voice warnings for the pocket gps speed cams and they work very well on tt6 on my M3100.. A friend has a TT One so I said I'll just copy the sound files over to his TT One, he's downloaded the cams in the same format so they have the same names as mine....

For some reason they don't seem to work, should I have put them somewhere other than the map directory or are they just not of a compatible format to work with the TT One.. At the moment all he gets are the usual bong ding etc !!

Any suggestions please...

Phil

For this to work you must both be using the same type of camera instalation I.e. both units have speed zoned for example, otherwise the file names won't match up. You have put the ogg files in the correct folder. Now your mate needs to re-configure the warnings on the device, this allows TomTom to pick up the ogg files and use them (you don't have to select them, it does this automatically when you re-configure the Warn when near poi for each camera category installed) - Mike

Cheers Mike, as soon as he gets back to the office I'll have a go at that.

I just assumed that it would just detect the files. I think he runs them without the warn when on route ticked.

Just needs warning for any around even when he hasn't got a route planned.
