I've noticed the 'pocketgps_uk_mobile_var.ov2' file is not on the latest database for TOMTOM OV2 UK-speed zoned complete (24 files) download. Is this right or has it been missed from the list?

It shouldn't have been in the list in the first place as it was used as a test file by the database compiler.
So no it hasn't been missed from the list.
