I was about to buy the Leadtek 9532 today but put off by the number of comments on here from people having connection problems. Is this still an issue for people?
If so i'm tempted to go for the Holux 210 instead.
Thanks |

There shouldn't be any connection problems, providing you have the correct settings. I think the latest 9532's come as SiRF 9600 but they used to be NMEA 4800. |

Wow, thanks for the fast reply Dave
The connection problems i meant were the comments where people got a fix on 6-7 satellites one minute but then a few mins later this dropped to nothing. Is this the same problem you refer to re: the settings change? Are the settings easy to configure?
Apologies if i sound like a beginner |

You can see problems with suddenly losing sats if you have UV protected windscreens, or if you are near tall buildings. Although you are going to find that with most. The Leadtek's are pretty good, and I very rarely get any problems with mine (I have two permanently on the dashboard!) |
