Hi there,
I own an iPAQ 2210 5purchase a couple of weeks ago) with Pocket PC 2003 prem. and a Rikaline GPS-6021-X6 compact Flash GPS (bought that after reading the review on pocketgpsworld).
The manufacturer claims that you need no drivers for it, but every time I put the device into the CF slot I receive a message asking be to 'Enter the nqme of the device driver for this card. For information, see the card manufacturer's documentation'.
I had the same trouble with a Linksys WiFi but eventuall found a driver from some other manufacturer that worked.
Any ideas what to do to get the GPS recognised ? The only navigation software I have on the Ipaq right now is is MS Pocket Streets and that programm is not able to find the Gps so I guess the GPS definitely does not work right now. I have also tried warm reset and cold reset (battery out). Also no luck. Could there be some conflict with the installed WIFI drivers ?
Pleasssee, any suggestions are welcome...
Many thanks :|

This is not correct, you shouldn't require a driver (and there isn't one!), you will need to contact Rikaline for a replacement card. We tested the X6 on a 2210, and originally had the modem popup message and it wouldn't work, but since then all X6's we have been told by Rikaline UK have shipped with the newly modified firmware to resolve this issue.
If you are getting this message you may have a faulty card, or a bad firmware. |

Dave,
Many thank for your reply. I contacted the supplier and after a bit of testing with PPCGPS208 (they claim it should be recognised by the drivers that come with this TOTMOM tool) it turnes out that there is indeed something wrong with the GPS. No recognition of the gps no new port recognised...
I have send it back today !
