Hi.. 2 weeks ago i had the 'briliiant' idea of updating the SmartST Desktop and at the same time it updated my SatNav... however since then i have not been able to use my Satnav.
It switches on fine... but then gets stuck on the picture and doesnt go to the main menu!
Is there a way i can reinstall whatever is on the Sat Nav.. or do i need to send to Navman (which i assume will cost a bomb!!!)
Your help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you! |

Can you try connecting it to your PC and opening the the SmartST Desktop, then Setup, Update Software, Update software on iCN. _________________ Tim |

Hi
Are you making the connection with active sync. If all fails you may have to do a reload. Quote: | As a last option you could perform a reinstall of the software on the iCN. As long as you have the cd’s and you are the registered owner. After the install you will need to get your registered info from Navman by clicking on the tools icon on SmartST desktop.
You will find how to do it on page 69 of the user manual. The manual can be found under help on SmartST desktop. Make a backup of you iCN before doing anything. |
Regards

Thanks! I've reloaded it and so far so good. The POI's i had installed are still on there.. but unfortunately lost all my Favourites. Am re-inputting all the ones i can remember.. and making sure i back-up going forward.
