Can't activate the map

I just got an Australia Map from my friend as my birthday gift. I installed it as showed in the help section and everything went fine till i needed to activate the map.

I have the product code correct, I have my device code and I got the activation code but the code didn't work. It showed that the activation code isn't correct for the Australia Map

Any ideas?

I would contact TT, explaining what you did and what happened, giving the Product Code and the Device Code and ask them for an Activation Code.

It's a long time since I've done it, but I think that if you Register the Product on the TT Website, in My Products, the Registration might insert the Activation Code into the Product details. I think you have to Register your Device as well.

It might be worth a try.

Or try installing via TomTom home, that seems to automatically activate them.
