I'm running the latest version of TTN6 on my Treo650. I have tried installing it on a 256mb SD card and 3 seperate 2gb cards. The problem I'm having is that on ALL of the 2gb cards TT runs extremely slow. Simple operations like tapping the screen to bring up the menu take several seconds; routing can take minutes (if the Treo doesn't lock up first). On the 256mb card, response is very rapid, routes are calculated in a second or two, and I never get any lockups. Other apps that I have on the 2gb SD cards all seem to run fine.
Is there anyone else using TT on a 650 with a 2gb card? I want to determine if it's specific to TT or the Treo. _________________ Mark

I don't know if it helps to narrow it down but TTN6 is fine on my iPAQ H1940 (1945 in USA I believe) with a 2 GB SD card (Mine is a standard Kingston). Everything seems much faster than TTN5.1 was and routes that took several seconds now only take an instant. _________________ TT Go Essential

It's fine on my 650 with a 2GB card - but mine's a high speed card. It'll help to reduce the number of POIs you have displayed. _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek!

Try downloading this (VFS Mark) which is a well known SD card speed tester (it's free) - it won't overcome the issue but at least you'll be able to quantify the problem you're having. _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek!
