G4 Mac OS X BU-353


Hi Folks,

I am a long time GPS and mapping enthusiast. Now I want to use my iBook for GPS applications.

I have been looking for navigation / moving map display software that runs on a Mac iBook G4 running OS X for a long time. I have not seen any. I have a BU-353 GPS receiver with USB output and I want to plot my travels as I drive cross country. I also want to locate POIs in the area and save waypoints. Ideally the software would have world maps available and would be free software.

I didn't see a forum for Mac laptops. This looked like the best forum to post my question. If there is a better forum for discussing Mac Software can someone please direct me.
