Virgin user needs help

Hi Guys,
Firstly - great site, hope someone out there can help
I've just got hold of my brothers pna3002, will using the pin in the stylus on the reset hole get rid of all his addresses, he has loads i won't need. or will it completely restart the system as i have no software for it.
I need to get rid of all his crap and enter my own crap.....
Secondly - can i get camera alerts put on it without having the software, i've tried syncing it to my pc via a usb cable but the laptops having none of it saying it doesn't recognise it, again will i need the disc for it and if so does anyone know where i can get hold of one.

1st the answer is no
2nd the answer is no, and I am a little surprised that your brother did'nt get rid of everything before he gave it to you, or am I being a little nieve here.
3rd I would suggest that you ask your brother for the software disk so that you can use his GPS or should I say yours.
