Hi,
I'm on the verge of buying an Nokia N73 and while I'd probably buy this phone anyway I'd like to have some clue as if it works with TomTom before I put in my order.
I've seen sporadic reports that it does work but then the person either doesn't confirm it or isn't actually sure what version of TomTom they are runnning?
Does anyone have TomTom Navigator 6, non-beta, non-pirated, full retail version working with a Nokia N73?

Well it does work, but not very well.
The software installs and runs fine enough, and the menus etc work perfectly. It's good enough, if a tiny bit slugglish on the update when you have no route planned, but it all goes wrong when you are navigating with a planned route.
Bascially it's really really SLOW. Screen update is of the order of about once every 2 seconds, the entire thing freezes whenever a voice instruction is being played, when you are in the middle of an arrow the display freezes for about 10 seconds and then picks up later on when you are already well down the road. That's if it doesn't freeze in the middle of an instruction, which it often does.
It's such a shame, because otherwise it looks really good on the N73 with it's big screen and good resolution. How come my old 3230 could run TomTom Mobile 5 really smoothly, and yet the N73 can't manage it?!

I think I've traced the problem to the voices. It runs at an acceptable speed when the sound is muted, but as soon as you switch the sound on it freezes whenever an instruction is being played out, which on complex routes is quite often!
