I'm just testing a new one-click program to create a speedcams file from the PGPSW database combined .ASC file. This will be easier and quicker to use than the velox method, particularly for people who aren't experienced PC users. Also it creates a 'proper' speedcams.mtc file rather than the poiupdates.upd file which isn't really intended to hold a full database.
I don't want to release this generally until it's been thoroughly tested and also when Miomap 3.2 is available, so that I can check that it works properly with the new software. But if any experienced user (comeone who has already posted on here and is using the velox method) wants to try it out and help with testing, please send me a PM and I will let you have a copy in the next day or so.

Many thanks to the testers for offering to help. I think we have enough for now. The new database issued today will enable you to try another conversion.
There is a trivial bug in the current program that causes it to report one less than the correct number of cameras that it has imported. This will be corrected in the next version.
Keep testing...

Just an update on this. I am currently testing the one-click program with the new version of MioMap and will post a link to it as soon as possible. Unfortunately I have a day job as well!
