T1 Traffic Module

Does anyone know of a URL with the manual for the T1 TMC Traffic Module?

On reading these forums, I realise that the pictures on Navman and other sites don't show that there is any additional wiring, but given the number of posts about reception problems there appears to be the need for an external (to the unit) aerial.

I don't want spaghetti junction on the dashboard or round the windscreen, but is this what I'll end up with if I go for the T1?
