if i buy a 300/500 cover it will fit ok on the classic wont it?
the only difference is the location of the tomtom badge am i right?

No, it won't fit staright away, you'll need to do some mods to the bezel

cant see how theyre different to be honest!

the release button is a part of the 3/5/700 bezels (so you have to remove the button from the bezel or modify the release catch on the Classic), the top catches on the 3/5/700 bezels are wider than on the Classics. So it will require some work with the cutters to fit a 3/5/700 bezel onto your Classic
